With its beach cabins, private jetty and landing dock, and spacious sun deck, the Belles Rives beach is a vibrant seaside destination, perfect for families, friends, or those looking to relax on their own. Open daily from April to October, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Water skiing was born here. It was in the natural bay of Cap d’Antibes that water skiing was first successfully practised in the 1920s by a French Alpine hunter, following unsuccessful trials on Lake Annecy. In the early 1930s, the Americans who spent their holidays on the French Riviera helped popularise the sport, establishing the bay as one of the birthplaces of modern water skiing.
